Meet the Mother and Daughter duo behind Grow Green Malta 

Rita is a wife, mother and nanna, who has around 20 years of experience working in early years education, particularly with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Throughout her career, she has graduated with a Higher Certificate in Inclusive Education, and successfully completed the course on Children’s Learning Activities and Play with distinction. Grow Green Malta enabled Rita to combine both of her passions; working with kids and enjoying the outdoors. Her mantra is that kids should be allowed to be messy, and that children’s education should develop independence, a sense of empathy, and a lifelong love of learning. She leads the sessions at Grow Green with loads of dedication, love and smiles 

Natasha is a wife and mum of two little munchkins; Emma & Yan. She used to work in accounts, and has always had an incline towards marketing, business and finance. She developed the idea of Grow Green Malta after having her own children, as she strongly believes in messy, unstructured, hands-on, independent learning and play. In between caring for her kids, Natasha manages the Grow Green social pages and ensures all the sessions run smoothly. Her mantra is that children learn most about their own individuality by interacting with other children, and that is why Grow Green Malta is a very special project close to her heart
